Motorcycle Tour - June 2011 - Cappadocia 2

On the 2nd day of our Cappacodia visit, we visited all neighbour villages. The first stop was Avanos, whose name in ancient times was Venessa, overlooks the longest river of Turkey, the Kizilirmak (Red River), which also separates Avanos from the rest of Cappadocia.

The other places you can visit are Ürgüp, Ortahisar and Uchisar. Below you can see photos from Uchisar, where you can also find the Güvercinlik vadisi (Pigeon Valley) and Uçhisar Kalesi (Uchisar Castle).
